It is planned for the 11th. Thus far the consensus seems to be same time, same place (gather at Starbucks just before 1, meander down to the org at 1, enturbulate and leave around 4).
Any time you grace our collective presence is appreciated.
I know how much of a literal pain PT can be. But just think of how much more fun you'll be able to have at the 2nd Annual Cincinnati Anonymous Picnic after all this hard work! Speaking of which, I could use a few volunteers to help with planning said event. Anyone interested in planning a party?

Besides having my head examined?
Nothing much, really, just trying to gauge the intrerest of the assemblage about doing another picnic, maybe in late May. Looking for thoughts for places (preferably that permit adult beverages or wouldn't hassle a discrete group), who might bring what. That sort of thing.

This is possibly a very busy time for Haddug. Remind me to explain as much as I can on Saturday.
Cookies are ready! Multi-color AND chocolate sprinkles!!! We don't deserve the care Mrs. C gives us...

Re: April Raid Date
sorry, ya'll, not going to make it this time. Last minute family issues and a total lack of transportation. Next month for sure, if I have to walk there.

Let me know ahead of time and the Cudgel Taxi Service can provide transportation.

Re: April Raid Date
I'm Sorry I'M gonna have to spaz out on y'all again but I need to go to physical therapy 2 hours early fopr freaking measurements since it's the last one before surgery.....I'm so sorry but hopefully the results well be killer for the next raid! I thought I could make it for a bit until they called today to make sure I "knew" it was a longer appt...which I didn't.
I'll help with the picnic but have to bring the little people:-)

Yes, it is. I think you know why Scary, you just may not realize that you do
Sorry I missed March without notice. Something came up at the last minute, although I should have known about it sooner. And I'm most likely going to miss tomorrow too, for the same reasons. And again, it's last minute but shouldn't have been

Little people and picnic go together. Someone young has to be around to pick up all us old people who try to prove they can still play Twister. Or softball.
When do you go under the knife? What's the suggested recovery time? If I pick you up and bring you a wheelchair to sit in, would you come in May?

Re: April Raid Date
Have fun at the raid guys! I won't make it today. I'm headed down to the bank to settle my final payment on my car and get the title back and then I have a family gathering to go to afterwards.
But I will do some work on the footage tonight. I actually just scored a fantastic piece of software for the video editing machine. There was an awesome charity promotion called "MacHeist" where for $40 you get a bundle of software. It starts out with just a few "unlocked" but as the money for charity number hits certain points other parts of it unlock. Well, this time it hit over $400,000 for charity which unlocked BoinxTV, a $500 piece of software which is made for news broadcasts. Yes I got that and 11 other applications (the rest were just games and utilities) for $40. I've been playing with Boinx for the last 2 days and it is fucking astounding what you can do with it. You can even do live internet broadcasts that look like they are coming from a newsroom. It's like having my own golden era studio on my machine, it's that fucking nice. So I'll be using it to edit up a nice vid using footage from January and March since I haven't put either up yet.
