February Pre Raid Planning

Time for a Feb thread. What dates are people good for?

I'm ok 7th or 21st. Can't make it on 14th because I'm going to be on travel. Don't let that stop you from voting for the 14th though, that's when most of the other protests are happening. I really hope it's big even though I'll be pissed a missing a big one. Maybe March will be big if we do party hard again.

As of this moment I can do just about anything, too, but for the lulz I personally would prefer the 14th. There's SO much we could do in signage with Valentine''s day...

I'd do this as a poll, but they don't seem to be available to us mere mortals:

Mrs. C can do cookies in one of two forms: hearts (even if we don't raid on THE day), or she has found the perfect Anonymous cookie cutter: hint - think of the "None of us is as cruel as all of us" logo.

Can't speak to weed. I'm that one in five million people it has no effect on. But alcohol can be a mighty fine thing: single-malt Bourbon, for instance. ("Nectar of the clods" I once heard it called by an Englishman. He was a tea-totaler and thus incapable of having a snowball's chance in hell of knowing what he was talking about. I thoroughly pissed him off by bowling him out for nil in a cricket match when I lived in Australia. Someone forgot to tell him I had played before at University...)

Poll is tied, but I'd say you guys go on the 14th. I can't make it but it sounds like you have /b/lackup coming from KY. I'll be there in March however, if my luck holds.

I feel like I'm letting everyone else down by saying I might make it, but never showing up. (I swear that my relatives have Radar on me or something for when I'm going to do something like this) Earlier this week I was going to say that I was coming on the 14th, but I have company arriving on "A Saturday sometime this month" (Thanks for being accurate /sarcasm>) Anyway, It'll depend on whether they arrive on the 14th or 21st.

And I still can't find a Damn MASK!!!!!

I've tried Northgate Mall and associated stores within, Costume shops all around, and on the internet...

Any ideas for where else to look at?

I usually have spare surgical masks, but a nice crazy beard works too.

I got Jason's mask (cheap one) Face cloth wrap, and A Rubber/latex Dennis Rodman mask (don't ask, I lost a bet)

I use a cheap $2 beard from a dollar store. "V" masks do not work well over glasses...

There's four/five of us. Only one has a mask..I don't think you will have to worry about paling

I got my V mask off Amazon marketplace. The trick is to look at the ratings of the place, in particular the volume. If they are a costume outfit that has over 50,000 comments or ratings, then you know it's probably legit. If it's only selling V masks and has low ratings, might be a scilon honey pot. I doubt they are doing that, but honestly it's better to go with a place that has high ratings and has done a large volume. Then you know it's not a scilon for sure... or a ripoff for that matter. I paid $6 for my mask. So look around, you'll find them. I wouldn't recommend ebay.

A search of the Kentucky Revised Statutes shows no restrictions. There are several news articles reporting on LOCAL efforts to ban the wearing of masks in public as a means of diluting the influence of the klan. Most were overturned by the Federal courts...
