June Jive Has Arrived

Thanks to Vengence13 we know that the scilons will be moving to Florence on June1. Whether this means their daily operation is going or what we don't know just yet. But I think we need to plan the June raid to hit the Florence facility. TYhanks to Zonker from Nashville, the Florence Police know to expect us. We need someone local who's willing to act as liason with the Florence authorities so they know that we follow the rules.

We need to plan. We need to try to recruit Anons to participate. We nee a damned CROWD to let the scilons know that just moving won't get rid of us. And we need a colorful theme for the day!!!

You're in the right place. I (arbitrarily) decided to move talk about June out of the poll and into here. Maybe I should edit my message and add a link to this section...DONE!

As for where to go, THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN ASKING. Since there's not much activity thus far in Florence I was thinking of one last (Hey, it could be a regular event until they move: The Third Monthly Last Raid in Cincinnati with signs like "We've been to the Ideal org. Have You?". But I digress.)

SO what say ye all? Cincinnati or Florence? Somebody say something. Please.

Either way there will be oatmeal raisin cookies...

hate to non-answer, but just saying that I'll be watching this thread and see whats decided. I'll be at either location chosen. Also, was wondering if I need to purchasing the mask, or anything else???

Last report (on WWP) was that a few scilons were touting their test in Florence, but nothing happening at their building...

Now are we hitting up cinci or florence?
If cinci i know the meeting spot, just when and where if Florence.

In a bold show of egotism and just plain pushiness, I hereby declare that the raid will be Cincinnati. SOmeone had to take charge and for the moment I declare myself king.

Meet at 1 p.m. at Starbucks and we'll head to the org.

While the scilons in Cincy have been generally benign, a disguise is recommended just in case. I'll have a cooler with water, but looking at the forecast it might be good if folk brought something for themselves in case we run out. Remember, though, the nearest bathroom is several blocks away (unless you go to the Duke Energy Center and can get in...)

Afterwards there's a spot some of us retire to. We'll probably take you up on the offer...

It's a combination. Most of the regulars wear the Guy. I can't because I'm bespectacled and can't do the contact lens thing, having once almost destroyed my cornea wearing them.

I'd buy one, but something tells me I wouldn't receive it before tomorrow afternoon. So I guess I'll be one of the unprepared. Can print some stuff up too, or make some signs, what to print, or write.

I got my Guy Fawkes mask at the Costume Gallery in Newport, down on Monmouth. Granted that was a few months ago, but it's worth a try if you're in a hurry.

I'll be there tomorrow as well, barring any unforeseen catastrophes between now and then.

Rhymenocerus: As I said, I'll have a few extra things (including at least one Guy) available for use/taking home as a souvenir (the Guy goes home with me, though: it actually belongs to Mrs. Cudgel (aka Shortcake who does drop in with us now and again, but not this week - she HAS baked the cookies, though)

Note to Scary: wear pretty panties. We may get to see them!

Whee, I got at least two, possibly three and a half (one of my friends is six months pregnant... would that count as the youngest anon ever? I mean, she's negative three months old) people coming with me tomorrow (today?). Just finished drawing up a t-shirt for one of them, and everyone's seriously excited to join in.

It is going to be quite epic - it will be my first raid I attend, I am definitely excited as fuck about it. I have been up for 24+ hours already, planning on staying up even longer :p
