January Jive?

Brief recap; We got stopped by the POLICE as we walked to the borg. Seems someone called and reported three suspicious people wearing masks walking down 4th Street West. Officer Jones was laughing because he thought it might be us, but he had to respond. He radioed his disatcher saying he knew us. We had a good laugh and went to the borg for two hours of sign flapping (some intentional, some caused by the hellatious wind).

There was a new very young reeptionist in the borg who seemed to be working really hard NOT to look at our signs. She seemed to be working pasting labels of some sort into a glossy singee sheet being rinted by a man working in the back room. We're guessing it has someething to do with the impending move to Kentucky, invitations perhaps (although if I gave any money to the idle borg I'd be damned pissed if my name was pasted into any document and not printed there!). Signs of the impending move inluded pallettes stacked against the window and a missing for sale sign! Checking county reords later today (they were down yesterday) to see if there's been a transfer of the property (if not, anyone want to buy a slightly used cult building?) Lulz were had when an older guy and his wife walked to the rosswalk in front of us while Joker was holding a sign that said "Danger, entering cult zone" The guy laughed and asked "Which cult?" The walked across into the borg laughing...

Deciding after two hour that we'd had enough of the wind, Scary, Joker and I retired to our current favorite pub ( a must-visit for any anons coming to the idle org grand openin!!) to start planning our March event on March 31. (February is up in the air - it will depend on when the scilons actually move). We did leave a sign pinned tot he tree next to our protest site. It said "See you in Kentucky. Expet us." Joker and Istood around the corner for a few minutes trying t get pi of someone tearing t down, but nobody came out. Possibly because several scilons saw us as they went into the borg. Te sign was gone when I drve by an hour later. But since the pushpins were still in the tree I don't think it blew off...

Sorry I couldn't make it, circumstances were non-conducive on my end (my phone's turned off, internet signals are pissy at best, and I was sick as a dog on top of it). I'll keep you updated as I can as to what is going on local... I'm going in that direction tomorrow anyway, so I'll keep an eye open.

On an unrelated note, could anyone send me some links to some decent fliers? I'm going to try and borrow a printer over the weekend, and I'd like to post some flyers around Florence, and of course around the org. Maybe something along the lines of "We want you to help stop the cult" with a anonymous logo and web address? If there isn't something like this already out there, I can probably make it myself, but I'm lazy and all that jazz.
