August Angst

As usual none of them showed up.

It was me and Scary, no one else. I have no comment on that situation.

The org has lost the blackout curtains and the front door was once again working. They were playing some DVD or other in the front window either with an external speaker or the volume was up enough that we could hear it from across the street.

They now go down to the other end of the alley to smoke just to avoid looking at our signs. Wonder if it's as full of discarded cigarette butts as the end by the org? (second picture). And Cincinnati has a new tough ($1,000 fine) littering ordinance. Film of butt dropping to follow (as well as copies to the local authorities...)

About two years ago, two of the scilons (a guy and a girl) made an attempt to follow some Anons as they left the raid. Being the paranoid careful bunch we are, we caught them in the act. This redhead was one of the followers. We think she's OSA, but don't know for certain. She disappeared after the attempted following. She was back Saturday after a long absence. As we watched, she and two other women were sitting in the diuretics bookstore. When the redhead saw one of the women looking out the door at our signs, she made her move to behind the wall of books where we became invisible.




This guy stood for some time smoking just facing the wall. He was either trying to not look at us or postulating our non-existence...




A small violation of the electrical code just above the central entrance to the building...




Finally, bit of shooping. Scary protests from INSIDE the cult...

Sorry I couldn't make it; my internet connection has been extremely unreliable the last couple months, so I had no idea when the raid was... I'm actually pretty surprised I managed to get online at all, to be honest. Hopefully I'll be better prepared by the time September rolls around.

Kinda glad I missed all the forum troll/asshole drama... I don't think I could have been as polite as Cudgel (or even Scary) in that situation...

Anyway, I managed to check out the Florence building yesterday. Still no real activity that I could see (they still have sunday school times on the front signs). The parking lot was chained off, but there were a couple of cars in the lot, including the one that Cudgel took a picture of, so something's going on out there... but they're keeping it really incognito at the moment.

Yeah, anywho, hopefully I'll be a little more organized by September... I'll be out of town for a week next month, but if there's no schedule conflicts I'll be there with bells on (possibly literally).
